Dumb Comment of the Year

Last night, boys 8th grade game, I'm trail, coach B at opposite end of court is yelling for an "over the back call" which he of course doesn't get. Play continues for a few more seconds then team A knocks the ball out of bounds under the basket. Partner awards the ball to B, and as I head back up court, coach B yells, that was just a make up call for not calling the "over the back", then he yells, I shouldn't even accept that call! I had to suck the whistle hard to keep from laughing out loud. I started to tell him well gee coach if you don't want the ball, we can give back to team A, no problem. Better yet, I should of blown the whistle, and just given it back to A (kidding of course)
