Basketball Referee needed for New York City Youthfest games on August 18

Hi Everyone:

Would anyone be able to direct me to someone who can referee a few Basketball games on this Saturday August 18, 2007? My original officiator had some family problems and dropped out at the last minute. The games are part of a fun day of activities for the neighboring community at Padegart Park in Brooklyn, New York. There will also be free food at the event.

Pay my airfare from Portland, Oregon, and home again, and a night at a motel, and I am so there! I'll even work for "free!"

No - then it would be world famous, like me.

BTW - I understand there's a former NBA official who isn't doing anything that weekend. Maybe he'd be interested in working the tournament. What's the spread?

However, according to the Daily News, he and his family are now staying in an undisclosed location to avoid scrutiny. His wife, Kimberly, passed a note to reporters telling them not to bother asking them any questions.
