Did anybody watch the Texas/ Texas Tech game last night? If so, what did you think of the officiating? I thought R- Scott Thornley, U-1 Tom Rucker, and U-2 Ted Hillary did an outstanding job last night in calling the game. All three officials let both teams play from beginning to end and you never the officials were there. Any other comments fellow officials??

I watched the last 6 minutes of regulation, plus the OT. I thought they did a fine job. They called the obvious and I don't think there was anything that either team could've complained about. Solid job, as far as I could tell from my couch.

I saw a guy that was standing in the quicksand, and he was "chicken peepin'".

The officials called a great game. I did notice that Coach Knight charged down the sideline to give an earfull to one of the crew in the first half. He ignored him on his way up the court. I suppose that is not Knights worst antics but just the same it looked bad to me and I thought he was going to get whacked!

I only watched a short amount of the game, but I did see the situation you are referring to as well. I thought the official in the center of the lane, two feet OOB, off the endline (Not sure which one he was by name) was squatting to check shoelaces or something unusual. looked peculiar to say the least.
