Hey. Let's give props to Danny Crawford.
The bravest Referee in the World!
I know it's his job, but it still took a lot of
cajones to get in between Shaq and Brad Miller.
He even got shoved out once by Shaq and still went back in!
All in a days work!

Major stones. The size of Shaq alone is enough to scare most guys trying to guard him. Think about jumping in when he is pi$$ed off and swinging.

This whole thing irks me. Shaq "loses" it and tries to commit a felony against Miller (if he connected that is), and the Lakers have the onions to blame the officials?

Whatever happended to personal responsibility?

I guess the next travel we call wil be our fault too, oh wait, never mind...

Was Danny working with rookies? I watched part of the game and it looked like the officials were doing a great job. They where calling the fouls. Just because you call the fouls doesn't mean the players will stop fouling. After all it is Shaq.

Shaq lost his "cool" after being bumped by Brad Miller and Charles Oakley on an attempted shot block. Shaq wound up and violently swung with over-the-top, Roundhouse punch that narrowly missed the back of the head/neck area of Brad Miller and then continued to pursue him. Danny Crawford courageously intervened.

If this incident were brought to the courts as an incident on the street, I wonder how much time Shaq would get???

NBA Official Danny Crawford — Part IV

Officiating.com is excited to be able to bring you
the final part of our four-part series of interviews with veteran NBA Official Danny Crawford. We are sure that every official will
have a new perspective on officiating after reading some of Danny's insight into the game. Thanks to the NBA and Supervisor
of Officials, Ed Rush, for allowing us to bring you this inside look into NBA officiating.

Here's a sneak peak
of Part IV:

Officiating.com:
What is the best advice that you have received?

Crawford: I work every game with the mindset that my supervisor is in the stands watching. What I mean by every
game is that if you see Danny Crawford in a summer league rec game and if you see Danny Crawford in the NBA Finals, you
won't see a different Danny Crawford.

There is much more inside! Also, be sure to read parts one through three of this exclusive
Officiating.com interview!
