A1 was throwing the ball in on the baseline. The ball was in the air when coach A called a time out. Where in the rule book does it say he can not have a time out during this situation?

JR - why didn't you hammer this newbie on his terminology of coach A having "called" a timeout? Were you having a "senior moment"? ;)

Actually, JR, I do have grandkids - 5 of 'em. The oldest one (Tyler) is 7 and in 2nd grade. He plays in a basketball program at his local Y. It's called "Itty Bitty Basketball" (really!). The kids go out on the court with their dads (my son-in-law David, who played Div I) and learn the fundamentals.

This is his second year in the program. Last year, they had team pictures. Tyler listed his position as "Power Forward." BTW - Tyler is already over 5 feet. His dad is 6'6".

Ya' gotta love it.
