Three point line moving?

Measure passes to move 3-point line back

But the women aren't going to use it.

It'll make for some interesting painting on the courts.

From the NCAA website......

<b><u>MENS:</u></b>
- 3-point line goes to 20'9" from 19'9".
-the free throw alignment changes...bottom slot not used, just 2, 3 & 4.
- courtside monitor will be used to determine whether a flagrant call occurred
- require the use of the courtside monitor for assessment if a fight happens
-new POE's- block/charge, coaching behavior and coaching box, rough post play, palming.

<b><u>WOMENS:</u></b>
-they got rid of that stoopid LGP-free area under the basket for block/charges. They are now same as NFHS and NCAA Mens when it comes to block/charge--i.e. the same concept all over the court.

I think it's a great idea. They've needed to move it for quite a while in my opinion.

Will Fed follow suit and change or leave it the same?

I went to a game last year and noticed the 3-point line had been moved back overnight. When I asked the AD about it, he said the Diebler elves came in during the night and moved it. It was part of that school's contract to sell their cookies. :p

Will whoever took my meds please return them - NOW!!!

If they follow that. They seem to call things with the LGP-free area no matter how it's written in the book.
