NBA follies

I have 2 questions: 1. Does anybody really believe Duncan was NOT behind Crawford's suspension/firing? Not an out-right demand, maybe something as innocent as "Geeze Mr Stern, I really don't feel I'll get a fair shake with that guy working my games ever again". 2. Does anybody really doubt at some point in the playoffs, on some play, a close but defendable call will be made that hurts Duncan & his team in a critical sitch? Not an obvious f-you call, maybe something as innocent as "Geeze that was close...let's give this one to the other guys". |

They've already started. Tony Kornheiser said that it's possible that they might make a call in a game one or game two as a shot across the bow to the Spurs. Nothing like throwing flames. |

I like his last line about "I didn't want to be part of this in the first place." If you don't want to be part of situations like this shut your cake hole in the first place. Crawford might have overreacted, but I've lost a ton of respect for Duncan now that he's whining about officials having it out for him in the playoffs.
