This is not hard for a man of Diebler's stature as all the Asian players are a good 8"-10" shorter than he is.

...also from a reliable source. All the crew pairings for the weekend will be sent to Asia first so Diebler can bless them.

Personally, I always say a few "Hail Dieblers" before I step out onto the court. :)

Actually Mark, you're confusing "Hail Mary (Strukhoff)" and "Our Diebler," though I always say a few more "Our Dieblers"

I believe one of them will be Dick Cartmell.

Diebler or nothing it won't be your last.

You gotta like the odds of John Higgins and Jamie Luckie getting in on this year's Final Four

tjones1 Sat Mar 31, 2007 05:25pm

So far your source is incorrect:

O St./GT: Valentine, Carrmell, and Kitts.

2 out of 3 ain't bad. Shows the guy he talked to knew something. May see Shaw in the enxt game.

Maybe our "friend" from last week has something to do with Curtis being taken off the G-town game.

Final Four officials, yes he was 2/3 (so far). However, the game in which they were assigned to he was 0/3 (so far).

BktBallRef Sat Mar 31, 2007 07:50pm

Did you know who would be working, without regard to which game they would be on? No, you didn't.

O'Neill, Harris and SHAW , game 2

3 ACC guys out of 6.

Raymond Sat Mar 31, 2007 07:56pm

Anybody been able to get a peak at the table to see who the alternate is?

JimGrillo Sat Mar 31, 2007 08:00pm

Tom Lopes is the alternate

parker27 Sat Mar 31, 2007 08:46pm

Anyone know who the alternate for the first game was?

The same official serves as the alternate for all 3 Final Four games.

I never said I knew who was working which game.

ncump7 Sat Mar 31, 2007 11:14pm

Jim...
That was not Tom Lopes at the table.
It was Jon Diebler disguised as Tom Lopes.

No way. Diebler doesn't need a disguise. Besides, he's R for the National Championship Game on Monday night. U1 - Old School. U2 - Steve Welmer. ;)

jontheref Sun Apr 01, 2007 09:04am

How about Donne Grey, Ed Corbet and Tim Higgins for a final four crew???
