No - he's busy playing in the Intergalactic Championships on Mars. Due to the lower gravity, he can dunk from a standing position. Of course, he's talented enough to do that here on Earth. :p

Is Lindsay the younger looking official with the baggy shirt always almost going to the baseline as a C?

Mountaineer Thu Mar 29, 2007 06:57pm

Lindsay is the one with the hair gel. He had the first foul call to open the seconf half.

Not quite true. Nearly half of the Ivy League teams are going to end their season with a W. And some years, I'll bet it's exactly half. Also, some independent schools are bound to finish each year with a win. Sorry to burst your bubble. :D

And there are probably a few really bad teams that don't qualify for their conference tournament, but win their last regular season game.

rockyroad Fri Mar 30, 2007 11:14am

Yeah, and what about the D-II and D-III and all the NAIA champions...they all end with a W...

I would rather my team lose in the first round of the NCAA Tourney to a 16th seed then for them to win the NIT.

Uhmmm, OK...that's just weird, but whatever.

Adam Fri Mar 30, 2007 01:25pm

Hey, Junker, would you have rather Iowa State won the NIT the year they lost in the first round as a #2 seed?

I lived in KC the season after that loss and the sports station I listened to most of the time started all of their coverage with an announcer's clip from the end of that game. It made me wish I was deaf. I actually thought we were seeded too high that year as a "make up" call after getting the shaft the previous year when we had to play Michigan State pretty much at Michigan state to get to the Final Four (incidnetly that game is even more painful to me than the Hampton loss). Ok, I'm off to put my head in the oven. Thanks for the trip down memory HELL...uh I mean lane.
