Blew out his knee in the second half of the regular season. Out for the year at least.

He's been in the mix the past few years. Probably backing him out and getting some other officials in there.

Tommy beat me to it by seconds, but at least I provided the right answer, Tanner.

I believe he had a knee issue back in January, and was done for the season.

Yes, I know I was late with the answer. But at least I was grammatically correct.

I think that you really should have a poll on something that is as important as this.

Cool.

Kinda like wearing your cutest pink frilly cocktail dress to deliver that report to your boss 2 weeks late.

Does anyone know if Teddy V. has done a Final Four since the three technicals to Knight a few years back? I know he has done Final Fours in the past but I don't remember him working a Final Four since.

Jay R,

Teddy V worked one of the semi-final games last year. But, I think he will be there again this year though.

Game note from Febuary 8, 2007 in the Purdue 62-38 win over MSU:

Referee goes down
Veteran game official Ed Hightower was helped to the Michigan State bench with a left knee injury with 7:13 remaining in the first half. Hightower left the court and did not return.
Glenn Mayborg and Eric Curry worked as a two-man crew for the rest of the game.

Hightower needed surgery for a torn ACL and was done for the season.
