Sick of Billy Packer?

Or perhaps studio analysts insisting GTown travelled? (Hell - I hate Georgetown, and even I admit there was no travel on the basket and no foul on Vandy's long 3.)

Q. What is the mailing address for CBS?

I have to keep answering my 13 yr old, basketball playing son's questions which go like this -

"Dad, is that true?" No.

"Well, why did he say it?" He was wrong. He doesn't know all the rules.

"How come he's on tv?" Kinda stumped me there! :o

How about "Guys that announce usually don't know how to do anything but talk, so that is the only kind of job they can get."?

Travel

When are you 2 clowns going to get back on here & say your sorry to everyone at CBS SINCE GREEN DID TRAVEL!!! Everyone in the world saw it...it has been announced that it should of been a travel.

People like you should be called "refboys". It's not fair for people to make negative remarks about officials but at the same time it doen't make sense for other officials to try & cover up & say no matter what...the officials were right. You basketball clowns are the worst.

He did not travel. You can pick up your pivot foot to pass and shoot before you bring it back down to the floor. They told the world essentially that anyone taking a jump shot has traveled. That is basic stuff. If you do not know that, why are you commenting on what an official called anyway? There is not cover-up when you cannot identify a basic rule. Then when I called CBS directly and talked to someone in the sports department, he read off the rule and said “You can lift your pivot foot to pass and shoot” and he quoted the rule and the section it was located in the rulebook. That sounds like someone told them they were wrong. I did not have to tell them why they were wrong.

Peace

And when are you going to apologize for your poor grammar skills?

Really? Even Amazonian tribesmen? I didn't realize they had televisions.

1. See above - re: poor grammar.
2. By whom has this been announced? And, no, CBS announcers don't count. There's a reason they're broadcasting the tourney and not reffing it.

I see Old School figured out how to create a new screen name.

Why don't you piss off back to wherever you came from, fanboy?

Gets worse every year with these idiots. Every damn one of 'em says that they are/were officials. And every damn one of 'em don't have a freaking clue when it comes to the actual rules.

Stupid monkeys.

Did anyone else hear the idiotic comment from Billy boy today when John Thompson got the technical. He said something to the effect that this really comes at an inopportune time and will take a valuable possession away from Georgetown. POI must be new to him. I used to really like him but he is getting ridiculous.

Was that before he got on TV? I was watching the first half today and trying to figure out why CBS insists on putting him on TV. Do they really think he knows what he is talking about? I wonder what he is holding over someone's head to keep him on the air. He has to drive Jim Nance crazy!
