Pants keep slipping...what do you do?
I saw this Ref (college game) on TV last night pulling up his pants and adjusting or tucking his shirt the whole time I watched and remember him last week on TV doing the same. he's bald on the top, hair around the sides. Forgot who was playing but it was on ESPN. He seems to be a good ref but that pulling and tucking looked tackey for a big time collge ref...I have the same problem sometimes but I dont think as bad as that. Is there a fix for that or do they sell something that keeps everything in place?

yes its called an alteration or put on some weight
besides your description just cuts the list down to about 85% of the college refs -- nice job in narrowing it down.. bald on top, hair around the sides --very good - i would venture out and take a guess that he is white as well -- if that is yes then we are down to about 80% -- getting there lol

That's easy - Steve Welmer. And you were watching the Sun Belt Conference final between AR State and North Texas, right?
He's a very good official, and if you search his name on this forum, you will get many hits, because he's been discussed many times. He does have the habit of hitching his pants every few moments, and he readily admits he isn't even aware when he does it. It's also the subject of a drinking game of sorts - do a shot every time you see him hitch up his pants. I'll guarantee you won't make it to the second half.

i have a drinking game on this forum -- take one shot for every mention of
--wait for it..... --steve welmer --old school's imminent stare of death(tm) --jon diebler --any criticism of a well respected and proven official --disagreements between jrut/jr jrut/nevad jr/nevada --double shot for a vote of confidence for old school --any thread which starts with "I am new to this forum..." --any thread which tries to sound like its by an official however it comes off as a fanboy/coach who lost and wants to blame officials for the 35 turnovers 50% FT shooting and lack of defense on their teams part --anytime that picture of the squirrel shows up --whenver chuck rears his ugly mug to check up on what is really up in the world of e-fficiating --there are more but I am already drunk as todays quota was reached at 9:30 As you can tell I cannot remember the last day I was sober past 11 ![]()
