I haven't been on the board much in the last three months due to computer problems, so I haven't had a chance to say this, but you guys and gals are the greatest. I have learned so much here, and had so much experience added to my own that the schedule I received this season is quite flattering. I am very pleased with it (Howard, I know you're listening, but this isn't apple polishing, it's just me chattin' with the homies) because it represents an enormous amount of improvement over the last year. I really owe a lot of it to y'all who have talked me through so many !!! problems, and let me listen in as you talked each other through yours. Anyone who is new to this board should pay attention: This board is worth any time and attention you have to spend on it.

Thanks, people, for a very happy Nov 5 (the day I received my schedule in the mail).

NOW who's apple-polishing?!?! LOL

Welcome back, Juulie. Have a great season. I don't even get a HS schedule for 2 more weeks.

I have to say the same thing - I have been running an intramural program for a while now, and don't really have anyone handy (since I just started reffing at the middle school/high school level and don't really know anyone to call) and ask questions of - the advice I have read on here has helped clarify rules and made it much easier to do what I do. Thank you very much!

Juulie - as I emailed you yesterday, congratulations on your schedule. Since you and my son Josh are in the same class, maybe you'll get some games together later in the year.

I'm sure he can teach you a thing or two

Mr. Padgett's son,
If I occasionally worked with you, I'd get better too!

Congrats on you schedule Juulie.

I could not agree more with your comments regarding the value of this site!!!

I just received my NF test score this year and at the risk of sounding bragadocious (sic) I got a 95%! Let me tell you that while I have worked hard to learn the rules (this is my 2nd year), I really need to give credit where credit is due. Thank you for allowing me to "listen in" on your conversations and learn as well as be "entertained"

Mike
