I was had
In response to the unanswered time out thread. White inbounded the ball, while I'm at the trail. I hear "time out... time out" I look up to see the blue coach emphaticaly pointing at a spot on the floor. Blood? Sweat? I blow the whistle... call time... and check the spot. Nothing. I go to the table and charge a full time out to blue. I felt I had to charge her with something. She did seem genuinely surprised that nothing was there. Or should I just have gone inadvertant whistle? Either way... She got me.

This is very different than a previous post. You have to grant the timeout if you already erroneously awarded a timeout. There is a casebook play that covers this. I also would not be totally mad if you ruled an IW, but that is just me.
Peace
