Alternate Possession
 
Jump Ball:

Both jumpers tip the ball towards the sideline, where blue goes to secure the ball, but ends up tipping the ball out of bounds. White ball on the throw-in.

Which team gets the arrow and why?

Blue gets the arrow. It's set as soon as the ball is at White's disposal -- that's the first "posession."
