Book(s) Vs Clock

JVB game tonight. After first quarter I visit table to ensure all is in order.

1) Book shows A - 6 team fouls, B - 5 team fouls.
2) Score Board shows A - 5 team fouls, B - 5 team fouls.
3) Visitors Book shows A - 6 team fouls, B - 5 team fouls.
4) Home has bench book and shows A - 5 team fouls, B - 5 team fouls.

Friendly game (so far) B Coach says, lets ask the A player in question how many fouls he has 1 or 0. We ask him, he says 2!

We went with the book!

You always go with the home book unless you have some definite knowledge otherwise. The score board is for show. It is not official in any way.

Peace

Are you saying that the clock on the scoreboard is not official? And to think, I spent all of those years counting down in my head :D

Rut said SCORE board. He did not say anything about the official clock.

If for some reason the clock and the score are displayed in separate locations, the one displaying only the score is not the offical score, but it is required by 1-15.

2-11-4 tells you what is your official score.
