1) why use a quote when I responded to your question about define a loose ball

2) how is this not a disadvantage to the defense as well?

No change to the definition of POI to use the arrow when there's team control but no player control. Then, if you have an IW (or double foul) during a pass, you have to go with the arrow. Or, if you have an IW during an interrupted dribble, you have to go to the arrow. It works fine the way it is. The fewer times I use the arrow, the better.
