New fashion or lost bet

Girls JV last night. During the game I notice that one of the home team players' head band has some familiar looking blue writing and a couple of blue stripes on it. The writing says "Froot of the Loom." During a timeout I get close enough to see what I think is one frayed looking edge, like the band was actually cut from a pair of underwear.

Is this some new fashion trend? Did this girl lose a bet? Should I have done a field sobriety test on her?

With this year's new sweatband rules, what if multiple girls wanted to wear underwear headbands? Can they mix boxers and briefs?

Nah, you shoulda just told her to take off the illegal headband. Gotta be one solid, legal color and be unadorned except for the logo. No writing or stripes allowed.
