backcourt violation?

team A is inbounding their ball from underneath their own basket(baseline), the pass is thrown out towards half court. the pass goes thru the hands of a team A player and goes into the backcourt, where the same player goes and gets it. is this a backcourt violation?

Not a backcourt violation and if you were smart enough to be a Red Sox fan then you might have known that:D
