Lightening the moment
 

A3 gets charged with a foul on a rebound situation. We're heading the other way for free throws, and B coach asks the calling official if that should be an "offensive" foul.
Partner tells him there's no team control on a shot, and the coach nods his head and says, "Okay, I didn't know that."
Partner tells him, "Don't worry about it, it took us a while to figure it all out, too."
Coach laughed.

I still know officials "trying" to figure it out. :D

I'm willing to bet that just when we've got it down, they will change a throw-in to having team control. Maybe it's just me...but they like to do that.

Seems that NFHS is generally about 2-3 years behind the NCAA is rules changes, additions, deletions, etc. I would also expect in the near future (1-2 years) that Team Control will be established when the ball is at the disposal of the thrower. JMO
