A board sighting....
 

Actually, Bob Jenkins and I worked a varsity boys game together last night.

Nothing Internet-worthy happened in the game (closest was the visiting team coming out with 30 seconds left on the clock to start the second half), but it's nice working with a top-notch official like Bob.

And I found out afterwards that Crystal Lake has good pizza -- Georgio's is outstanding.

Bob's still the only guy I "met" on the Internet who I've worked both baseball and basketball with.

Who's the moderator? Can a moderator please delete this thread? :D :D :D




JK of course... I've had the pleasure of officiating with somewhere around 4-5 OF folk over the years. It's pretty cool. Isn't it nice to ref with someone who knows this stuff and there's little to worry about?
