I wish they had a T for STUPID!
 

Just when I think I've heard all the stupid remarks that can be made, a little while ago I was doing an 8th grade girls championship tournament game. One public and one parochial school. I call for captains. One school's captain shows up alone and I tell her to go get her HC. She turns around and says, "Daddy, come here." Inwardly my partner and I groan. Home school choir director sings the national anthem. This woman has a voice that can only be described as awesome. She is second to none. It is the most beautiful national anthem I have heard in any place in any sport where I have officiated and I have heard some great ones. "Daddy" the visiting HC, turns to his players and remarks, "Geez. what does that woman think this is Starsearch or American Idol?" Why don't they invent a T for STUPID?

T is for Tacky.

Proper response would be muttering to your partner,"Who does he think he is? Paula Abdul?"
