howie719 I was always told that any foul, or tech counted twords disqualification. A1 has 3 personals. get four foul, then a tech that's five, right? If so please quote rule in book,m thanks!
just another ref 4-14-1: A disqualified player is one who is barred from further participation in the game because of having committed his/her fifth foul (personal and technical), two technical fouls or a flagrant foul.
Adam There's a nice little chart in the rule book that tells you what fouls count for what, and technical fouls charged to a player count towards the limit of 5 personal fouls as well as the limit of 2 technical fouls.

The DQ happens at FIVE FOULS which can be a combination of personal and technical fouls. Saying that there is a limit of five personal fouls is not accurate.
