It's driving me nuts......

I'm having a problem with the bottom of my pant legs. I've started noticing that it gets lodged in the back of my shoe and I'm having to constantly "free it".

Anybody have this problem or know of any solutions??? Not that big of a deal, but I think it looks tacky.

for $6 (or whatever your local tailor charges) have the pants either lengthened or shortened by a small amount.

I was thinking a couple strips of duct tape over the back of the shoe and sock might help?

Ok, I'm done thinking for today.

Get the "West Point" cut on your pants legs. The back of the pants leg will be slightly longer and hang over the back of the shoe, while the front will be slightly shorter and rest on the top of the front of the shoe. It really looks wierd at first glance, but once you put the pants on, it is virtually unnoticeable.

I didn't know what to think when my tailor first told me about it, but I am SOLD! It looks good and NO problems at all with the pants legs catching. Hope that helps.

Why don't you just staple the back of your pants legs to your legs? It works for me.

Staples?

Real men use 2 inch drywall screws.

The problem is that drywall screws stick out and are obvious to everyone; it looks tacky. Staples are cheaper and more subdued; and they go better with Padgett's man bag.

Put a hot iron to the crease?

Are you wearing low tops with the little flap to help you put the shoe on? If so, stop wearing them and get some high tops. Problem solved.

Isn't it suppose to be the complete opposite?

Did I mention I use industrial staples and shoot them in with an airgun? Of course, you wouldn't have this problem if you wore shorts with fishnets like I do most of the time.
