Castro Valley is not "San Francisco". It's in the East Bay (opposite side of the water from SF) and is in between Oakland and San Jose.

Close enough viewed from the right.

Next we'll have coaching by committee. Parents can vote on whether to play zone defense or mandaman, whether Sally should come out of the game after picking up her 3rd foul during the 2nd quarter, and who should set the screen so that little Jimmy can take the last-second GW shot.

We'll also have about 30 T's for excessive timeouts as the committee deliberates.

This is a great example of why I officiate and won't coach. I do have sympathy for the crap coaches have to put up with from parents....as long as they don't try to take it out on me every Tuesday and Friday.;)

Of course, I usually have the same thought about the Toledo/Cleveland/Akron/Youngstown.

Trust me, there couldn't be any 2 cities more different than Oakland and San Francisco.

Beating the drums .....

People out here in California tend to see things along the lines of urban or non urban. The mountain communities and Central Valley see things a little to the right of center while the urbanites see left of center. So not all Californians are smoking medicinal tobacco, playing hackey sack and listening to jerry Garcia. ......Though THAT summer was a blast.
