One Mississippi...Two Mississippi...
JV Girls Tip-Off Tourney - Two whistle game - I'm Trail opposite, right in front of the stands, got two girls about 3ft or so from midcourt and 6 or so from the sideline, girl has picked up the ball and is stuck, defender right on top of her and I'm right there refereeing the heck out of it with a count going and some woman behind me gives me the old "come on ref three seconds you got see her camped in the lane come on that's three seconds!!!! Ah it's good to be back.

Women's JC game...brand new coach for home team...home team pressing in backcourt, visiting team can't get ball across midcourt line...home coach starts screaming "10 seconds!! 10 seconds!!" All 16 fans start yelling it also...after about 4 yells, home coach screams "God-damn it, that's about 15 seconds." Sigh...whack...walk over and have a little conversation about his recent move from HS to NCAA-W rules...to his credit, he turned to the 16 fans and explained it to them and apologized to them for not knowing the rules better...
