What are people's thoughts on how the game and shot clock were handled just prior to the end of the 1st half?

From the looks of the replay, I thought they were going to put about 1.5 seconds back on the clock. Instead they did nothing.
It was a great game though.

I was listening on the radio, coming home from a game. They said Gary Maxwell. I paid no attention to them once I got home.
