What is the signal?
Rule 9-4 "A player shall not travel with the ball, as in 4-44, intentionally kick it, as in 4-29, strike it with the fist or cause it to enter and pass through the basket from below. What is the correct signal for striking with the fist, and the ball entering the basket from below?

Direction signal. That is it. Peace |
Striking the ball with a fist:
Stop Clock with raised open hand... Hand balled in a fist, upper arm and forearm at a 90 degree angle...opposite hand's forefinger point at balled up fist... Point for spot throw-in. Ball enters basket from below: Stop Clock with raised open hand... Point at bottom of basket... Point for spot throw-in. All nationally approved mechanics...really, it's true! ;) |

I think the "it's true!" comment was an homage to you, and you missed it. ;) |

RookieDude...
Those mechanics are nationally approved by WHOM? Sounds a little like the Three Stooges.. |
I'm picturing myself pointing to a closed fist, then hitting it in a downward motion, fist windmills over the top and hits the offending player in the top of the head. That'll teach him to hit the ball with a closed fist.
