2006-07 NFHS Rule Book for Handheld PDAs
I have taken the ARS version of this year's rule book and copied and pasted it into Word format. I then transferred it to my Tungsten E2 Palm via Documents to Go. I created a seperate category, "Basketball," and stored all the documents there. So I now have the complete rule set, rule changes and comments, POE, Fundamentals, and state association adoptions stored in my Palm.
Each Rule and appendix is a separate Word document, although I did include the rule changes and POE together in the same doc. Each rule Section is highlighted in bold red font. Each rule change/revision is highlighted in yellow background, which I can't demonstrate here. All Notes and Exceptions are italicized. All Penalty sections are in bolfdface font, as are the separate section in the appedices. It can also be stored on a regular PC for computer use. Quite honestly, it turned out very well and I'm quite proud of it. With a color screen PDA, it's easy to read, and easy to find what you're looking for. If you would like a copy, reply or PM me with an email addy that will accept a file transfer. It will be transfered in a file named Rules.exe. Double click and allow it to open the the folder, c:\Basketball. Then create the Basketball category in Documents to Go and transfer via Hotsync. Or I can send it in .zip form if you're concerned your AV software might block it. If anyone finds any errors, please let me know. |

Btw, food for thought. My wife ran this by me a few days ago...showed my an article on it. They had pictures of people wearing scarves, sweaters, etc. knitted out of dog hair. There was a company listed that specialized in it- taking the hair from dead pets and then knitting something as remembrances for their masters/mistresses. Mistresses? Anyway, they had to combine the dog hair with something else iirc in order to have a workable product to knit. Sooooooo.....maybe you can use Woody to knit up about 14 coats and a panty girdle. Just a thought. It's true, It's true..... I'd Google it for more info.....but, come to think of it, I could care less anyway. T'hell with it. |
Please hook me up [email protected]
|
I'm about a day behind because of work and football. I'll catch up tomorrow for everyone who requested today.
For those who have it, how's it working out? |

My house and everything inside it and within 200 feet of it are already covered with a light orange coating of what used to be on the damn dog. Even the squirrels in my backyard have a slightly orange-ish tint. |

Ordinarily, I don't say anything, but with all these folks posting their e-mail addresses...
As a public service, I would inform you that spammers have developed software that harvests e-mail addresses from public forums like this one. Anyone who posts their e-mail address can expect to receive an extra helping of the spam that now constitutes over 90% of all e-mails. If you must post your e-mail address, then you might consider making it look like something else: for instance, p15 [[AT] comcast DOT net. That's easy to figure out but a lot harder for software to scan. |
As long as people are performing public service, I have forwarded it to everyone that has requested it since I did. Pay it forward.
|
I want to thank you for putting this together. I had misplaced my rules book (found later in the bottom of my bag) and was presenting a rule at our local association. I was able to print out the page for quick reference during the meeting. It was in a large font than the actual book.
