Can anyone give me common examples and a brief defintion of these types of fouls? I am having difficulty understanding the different types of fouls.

Intentional personal foul?
Intentional technical foul?
Flagrant personal foul?

Thanks

Intentional technical foul?
A contact foul during a dead ball.

Example: Shoving an opponent after the whistle has blown to stop play.

Flagrant personal foul?
A contact foul during a live ball which uses excessive force and shows an intent to injure.

Examples: Punching or kicking an opponent. Any attempt to strike an opponent. Undercutting an airborne shooter ("taking out the legs").

Flagrant technical foul?
A contact foul during a dead ball which uses excessive force and shows an intent to injure. Or a non-contact foul which is extreme, vulgar or abusive.

Examples: Any attempt to strike an opponent (during a dead ball). Excessive or abusive language directed at an opponent or official. Taunting an opponent based on race/gender/sexual orientation.

Those are examples, but not the whole list. You can probably come with others. Hope it helps.
