never before seen incident...

7/8 boys game, YMCA, 1:03 left in the 3rd Qtr. as my partner is ready to administer the FT, I see a gum-resembling splotch in the semi-circle. like ive done in the past with all gum on the court, I go over and nudge it with my shoe to see if it just comes right up so I can kick it off to the side of the court. also realizing that gum is not usually BROWN!, I should not have taken my chances.... because it wasn't chocolate either. I didn't even bother to sniff it. I looked over at the scorekeeper, had him stop the clock. I asked him to come clean it up and my partner made a nose-blowing impression, and
i said, nope...this came from the other end.
we never found the culprit, I just chalked it up to an invisible monkey in the stands.

Had a kid's football game last summer where, during the game and at one corner of the field, we located dog doo on the field, three times over.

I stopped the game and told game management of the discovery. They cleaned it up.

Somebody was a bad citizen!

Hey - if you have a jerk of a coach, you're supposed to PUKE on his shoes.

One of our old-timers told me of a girls game he was reffing and he spotted something on the floor. I'll spare the revolting details, but let's just say it could only happen in a girls game. Blech! The AD that had to come and clean the floor was not real thrilled.

I can top that.

Had a game earlier this year where the home team had a girl on a horse ride up and down the field before the game. That's right. Horse$hit!

But they were prepared. Little man with the super duper pooper scooper and a trash can came out and took care of business.

Well, most of it anyway.

Did he have an IAABO crest on his shirt?

I think I know who it was.

This happened to me twice in the same game last year. Pretty vile, but I felt bad for the poor girl, whoever it was.
