As the summer winds down, I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback on what some of the better camps were this year? Could you specify if it was a two-man mechanics camp, three-man, college men's, women's, etc. I am a Master level official (HS) who is trying to find out if small college would work for me. Any feedback??

Best Summer Camp

Look at camps in your area, usually if you are trying to move up the ladder camps in your area may be a good place to start.Out of all the camps that I have ever attended my favorite is George Toliver's Camp in Harrisonburg Va.You won't finD a better staff anywhere!

What's a "Master level official"? Do you have to learn how to control the dark side of the force or something?

I think that's when you get your Master's of Officiating from the Bobby Knight University.

I am also in WI

Wisconsin starts all officials as a Level One, then based on your passing exam scores you advance with each year of officiating through Level four. The minimum score rises with each year of officiating. Level five is considered Master Level. There additional requirements beyond the Part 1 and Part 2 exam, but I will not bore you with them.

Hope this helps.... :)
