I purchased the Ecourt software through the IAABO website and the first one they sent out to me had the wrong pass code. I then contacted this company through the IAABO website and they sent me another one. I now have two CD's and I just can't seem to figure out how this software works. Can any one else tell me if they have purchased this item,and what do you think of it.For those of you who do not no what Ecourt is, It is supposed to be a pregame software for two or three person mechanics.

The IAABO (I Am A Blind Official) better be carefull with the name of that product. There is already a software product on the market named eCourt. It is a legal software program, and I would bet the name is protected.

Ecourt for basketball referees, eCourt for lawyers, might
be enough of a difference in intended audience to not
cause confusion. Or not, would be interesting to see what
happens.

Ecourt-HS,the company that puts out this product is called djb Sports Media.This product is sold only through the IAABO website,in order to purchase this software you must first phone the IAABO headquarters and one of the staff members takes your information and then you pay IAABO upon receipt of your CD-ROM.This product comes in 2person or 3person CD-ROMS,it is considered to be "The Ultimate Referee

Okay, let me try to explain a little bit more why I am dissapointed with this product and IAABO.First thing, when you set up the program(CD-ROM)there is this huge introduction that has you feeling like you are getting ready to enter this state of the art world of officiating.Second thing,A beautiful state of the art basketball court comes on your screen equiped with two or three officials(depending on which software you purchase)also table staff,and two actual teams on there benches.The officials can be moved around the court(using your mouse)and it also includes pre-game duties and responsibilities on a seperate screen.What makes Ecourt a joke is that if you run into technical difficulties you can only contact them via email and IAABO can not answer any questions in regards to Ecourt, they only suggest that you email the manufacture with your questions or comments.

Our state had IAABO take over all training for our officials
this year I went to a trainers meeting yesterday and got a
free copy of the program so far I haven't had any problems with it, as far as a pregame tool I can't see bringing a laptop to the schools to use it but as a training tool
for new officials to see positioning and fields of vision
I will probably use it alot in training sessions.

I believe that this is the product that we used during my three-person camp this summer. I actually thought it was a pretty neat tool, but I was only a passive "user"--I wasn't the one at the controls. However, I thought it was great for showing court responsibilities, and positioning, but I don't know about a pre-game. I think I'd rather stick to my magnetic board. How much was the package?
