I told some of you that I would tell you when I saw it. If anyone is looking at the Sacramento-Pheonix game on NBC right now, look and see if you see 3 women officiating the game.
It might not happen all the time, but it does happen. Peace |
Nope, that wasn't the deal!
The deal was that you would let me know when you saw an all black crew work and NBA game. ;) BTW, all the players in today's game were women too! :D 31-14 at the half. What a great contest. :( |
October, November maybe???
Well when I can stomach a regular season NBA game, I will call you when I see an all-Black crew.

While the officiating in the NBA is top notch, the contact and the way basic violations are called is very different from high school. I believe that's what Richard was alluding to.

Contamination
BktBallRef is right -- it is the judgment of what constitutes a foul, violation etc. plus the mechanics. Basically, the game is officiated very differently. Watching a different standard cannot help one's mental sorting, and it could hurt. With a lot to watch in a game, I don't want to be thinking "Let see, for NBA that is OK, but, no, I need to make a call here at high school." Some may be so good at officiating that this is not a factor, but for most of us it is.
