throw in ends
NCAA rules -- in rule 4-65-5 is says a throw-in ends when the ball is controlled inbounds; in rule 6-3-2, it says an alternating possession throw-in ends when the ball touches someone inbounds; can someone explain this difference to me?

Rocky's answer is correct for the men's side, too.

thanks; so, during an AP throw-in, if a foul occurs after the ball is touched inbounds, but before the ball is controlled, we're not changing the arrow, correct?
