Piston's Playoffs Game - Impressions

I went to the Piston's Bucks Playoffs Game on Wednesday night, a few impressions from a novice.

These impressions are from a great distance, through binoculars at times, my kid stood in line and got 12 buck seats for the Palace... I was so far away I never heard their whistle... quite literally the top row.. could reach up and touch the ceiling.. but I was in the house, and had a great time.

* Refs wore this grey satin shiny jacket-- seemed kind of flashy for a ref.

* 3 man crew, 2 seemed to be buddies, third guy seemed to always be left out, or like he didn't like the other 2 guys, or they didn't like him. When the 2 buddies stood at FT line extened they stood right next to each other and chatted, when the solo guy and one of the buddies where standing there there was distance between them. At halftime the 2 buddies stood and chatted and the solo guy stood maybe 10 feet away the entire time. It just seemed odd.

* Solo guy did a stretching/warmup routine at halftime, bouncing, running in place, ballistic stretching. Coincidentally at the same time they were playing music. At times he would, (probably unconsicously) bounce in time with the music, almost like he was doing a dance routine. It was kind of funny.

* They missed a travel call in the third quarter, I saw it clearly from my $12 seat (:

Well, Tony Brothers is a local product and from I've seen of him it's hard to imagine him doing a stretching/warmup routine at halftime, bouncing, running in place, ballistic stretching. Coincidentally at the same time they were playing music. At times he would, (probably unconsicously) bounce in time with the music, almost like he was doing a dance routine. It was kind of funny. So that must have been Stafford or Garretson.

I don't know enough to recognize anyone by name, but the guy doing the warmup at center court during halftime was a white guy, the other 2 guys were african american.

That would be Ronnie Garretson, his dad was a famous NBA ref Darrell Garretson.

I believe they've been wearing this for a while, or at least the one I'm thinking of it a grey body with blue arms.
