I heard a rumor that Lou Campanelli is no longer the commisioner and an ex NFL official has been hired to replace him. I have a VERY reliable source on this and will post the name of the guy replacing him as soon as I remember it.
Wonder if the new guy is looking for some talent? This summer may be a good time to try to get in.

I don't know if he coached at Cal.......Yeah turns out he did. Then he took over as supervisor of officials. I'm sure there was a gap in there somewhere. But now he's been replaced.

Pacific-10 Conference
Walnut Creek, CA (April 21, 2006) - Lou Campenelli, the Pacific 10 Conference Coordinator of Officials (Men's Basketball) resigned Friday afternoon. The former Men's Basketball Head Coach at the University of California, Berkeley, Campanelli was in the position for three years before giving up his post. His successor is Bill McCabe, who served as an official for the conference in football and basketball. While he no longer serves in either sport, he was a conference evaluator of officials in men's basketball and is an official in the Arena Football League. He is from Northridge, CA.
