Violet Palmer to officiate playoffs

Congrats to her. I didn't get up early enough to see the interview on GMA though.

Ok, I'm not sure I can pull this off, but:

You go girl!

I went to her camp last year and asked her about working the playoffs. She told me that last year she was an alternate in the first round. She said that she was on about the same time line as the other officials that started when she did and was hoping to get playoff games this year or next year.

It is a huge accomplishment and I am sure she is very proud.

You were at her camp last year? Honestly, one of the best camps I've ever been to. Looks like she's not holding it this year, however. I haven't heard for sure.

A couple years ago, I attended a camp in Orlando and had the distinct pleasure of being observed by Violet. She is an outstanding official and has an outstanding teaching style. I wish her the absolute best, and I couldn't be happier that she is finally working the post-season.
