Unless I am wrong and that is very possible, it wont be released for a couple of months. Somewhere around Aug/Sept.

You're wrong. The FED released the rules changes last year on April 28th. It's usually about the same every year...last week of April.

I'm not looking for the official release. I'm looking for someone with connections on the inside that can give us the scoop.

Meetings not over yet

According to the NFHS calendar, the meetings continue through today (Monday 4/10). Maybe some info later today or tomorrow.

I emailed my interpreter to see if he would post the new rules when known on our board website. Whether there will be any advance notice or not, I don't know, but he IS on the rules committee.

Heard from him today...and he indicated that there wre NOT a lot of changes. He will post to our board website upon adoption of the changes.

When do they become "adopted," if the meeting has already ended?

26 Year Gap Tue Apr 11, 2006 09:18pm

Near month end. The committee makes the recommended changes and the Fed adopts them [or not] after a comment period. Who comments? I do not know except that it is not me.
