No, no, no!

Game 5 is going tonight. Game 4 goes tomorrow night. Didn't M&M teach you anything?

Lah me.....Cardinal fanboys:rolleyes:

LOL. Well for ticket holders that was true. But... no tickets for this guy. Big win, of course, for the Cards. Tigers are certainly shooting themselves in the foot.

And no, I try not to listen to M&M. :D ;)

Tigers are the first team ever to have a pitcher commit an error in each of the first 4 World Series games. I know the Red Sox defense wasn't exactly stellar in the '04 Series, but that's quite a feat.

Should be a great game tonight.

Mark McGwire is gonna sing the national anthem.....and then for old time's sake, he's gonna stick a needle in his butt.

Film at 11.

It's true, it's true.....

Here's another Chuck-type stat I heard last night:

In the previous WS meetings between the Tigers and Cardinals (1932 and 1968), the series went 7 games. In those series, the Cardinals won the first game of the series, the Tigers won the second game, and the Cardinals won the third game, just like this year. And, the team that won the fourth game of the series went on to lose the series. In 1968, the Cardinals were up 3-1, and Detroit won the last 3 games of the series.

Yoohoo...Tanner...it's not quite over yet...

:D

Very, very true Jim. The last time the Cardinals were up 3-1 was in 1985. And we've already talked about that series! :) It ain't over until it's over.

I expect another solid outing by Jeff Weaver tonight. The Tigers will have their hands full. I'm somewhat considering driving to St. Louis tonight -- time will tell.

Umm...hey, Tanner, don't tell anyone this...but I kinda hope the National League team wins, just to silence all those American League elitists.

If you do go tonight, bring a duck. You'll make him happy. It looks like it will be wet again.
