I see in 1970 a fellow named Otis Allmond worked the Final Four. Does anyone have any information on him. My HS board gives out an award in his name, "Most Promising Official", every season but I've never heard any history on him.

I did a Google search and found several mentions of Otis Allmond. ACC official, worked the NCAA tournament as far back as the mid 60's. http://www.bigbluehistory.net/bb/Sta...311Dayton.html Kentucky vs Dayton 1966.

Thanks....old Pat Riley had quite a tournament but couldn't overcome those "Road to Glory" fellas.
