I've noticed, especially at high school games that during some time outs, the official after giving the full or 30 second sign may also make a "c" shape with his hand. What is this? Media T.O.?

Brad, it just means that it was requested by the Coach. If it was requested by a player, then the official will give the player's number (usually).

BTW, do you see a lot of HS games that use media TO's? :confused:

I only seen media timeouts in high school starting at the Elite 8 of the State Tourney.

Not really, that was just a guess on my part. Like you I've only seen media T.O. during the state tourney (ky).
