The New Guy Anyone out there know what the black arm band that Lopes, Valentine and that other guy are wearing today are for?
Nevadaref The other guy is Pat Adams. I didn't notice an arm band and have no idea why they would be wearing one.
The New Guy That is a good point, but not exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the words of wisdom.
Nevadaref Hmmmm... I wonder if this is some kind of statement about the firing of conference officiating coordinator John Gutherie.
Jurassic Referee Brad Davis, the SEC Associate Commissioner, died last week. I imagine that's where the black armbands come in.
Jurassic Referee Originally posted by jbduke Why would the finals crew be the only group to recognize Mr. Davis's death? JB, I don't have a clue. I was guessing about the armbands anyway. I don't know for sure if that was the reason that they were wearing them.
