Was flipping through the channel guide last night and noticed there was going to be a HS game on Fox Sports Northwest. I taped it and it turned out to be the 3A Washington State championship game between Seattle Prep and O'Dea.

Anyone from the boards working this game or know who worked it? I'm watching it right now.

Fetterly (Scott?) from Seattle was one ref. Steve Landro is in my association (Sno County) and he was one of the refs. I don't know the third guy.

3rd official was Steve Simonson from Wenatchee, I believe. Any word on who worked boys/girls finals at B, 1A, and 3A? Our association hasn't posted that info so was wondering....

Congrats!! The B tournaments are always a blast - those little towns all pack up and show up for the games.. I heard that there was some "controversy" or other concerning the Mossyrock girl's loss in the semi-final...any truth to the rumor?

And thanks Ron and Scott...I appreciate it.

Thanks Rocky and Ron,

It was a hoot. Those little town fans sure do travel well. Lots of great crowds. I don't remember a controversy in the Mossyrock semifinal game. After my semi, I was sitting in the middle trying to watch both the 2nd boys semi and the 2nd girls semi at the same time too so I might have missed something.

My semi was easy. Jim Anderson and Denise Thatcher were awesome partners. Both of them nailed it. I thought Denise should have been the R for the final, but somehow she ended up as the alternate. She is a stud.

Congrats Rocky!!!! Go get em'.

Denise is fun to work with...if she has some good camps this summer, she should get picked up by a couple of conferences.

As to the "controversy", I just heard from some friends who were there that there was a "touch foul" called on Mossyrock that allowed the other team to take the lead late, and then the Mossyrock kid "got hammered" on a last-second shot with no-call...I just laughed it off, but thought I would ask someone who was actually there.
