Offensive foul or hand check? (Duke - FSU)

In the Duke FSU game last night, Greg Paulus and the FSU guard went at it, up and down the court. I saw an offensive foul called against Paulus, but it looked like the next time down the court, he was pretty much doing the same thing. It seemed to me that the defender was hand checking and leaning on Paulus, and that Paulus was pushing off every time, but I only noticed the one foul call (I admit I wasn't paying too much attention earlier in the game).

What was your take on this, and how would you handle this in a HS game? I would tell them to knock it off, but I'm wondering if you thought the level of contact was incidental, or occasionally warranted a foul call?
