That reminds me, it's getting real close to the time when the perennial Billy Packer thread resurfaces. |

Mind you, I'd never say it, but this certain person hasn't chimed in yet, so I'm just seeing to it that "all the bases are covered." |

OzReferee tells us there's an unpleasant word that Aussies use for Americans, and I'm sure you'll be tempted to use it. How about we just both agree that it fits me, and you don't have to say it? :) |

My partner and I humbly accept the award in our region. I guess you win for your region!

I've coached a few years and just started officiating this year. My view of officials has changed. I have never arugued with officials...NEVER! And let me tell you I know so much more about the game and I'm learning the rules!!!
I'd encourage you to watch the game and relax. I've never been a part of a game where an official caused me a loss. I have though witnessed my players miss a layin, a short jumper, or we have turned the ball over. OFFICIALS HAVE NEVER CAUSED ME TO LOSE...EVER! Us coaches need to put our energies into our kids not the officials. Sit back, relax, and smile... and enjoy your next game like never before! |
I wish I could find more coaches like you.
