Can anyone tell me how you can have a multiple throw with the first for a technical and the last for a personal foul?
This is not meant to be a quiz - I just can't envision when this could happen????

Coach B says something unsporting as A1 goes airborne and gets fouled before returning to the ground. Official whistles T, but whistle doesn't kill the play because we have an airborne shooter. Shoot them in the order they occurred, T then common foul.

Hmmmmm,

WITHHOLD WHISTLE

10.4.1 SITUATION E: A1 is driving toward the basket for an apparent goal when the official, while trailing the play advancing in the direction in which the ball is being advanced, is cursed by the head coach of Team B. How should the official handle this situation? RULING: The official shall withhold blowing the whistle until A1 has either made or missed the shot. The official shall then sound the whistle and assess the Team B head coach with a technical foul. If the official judges the act to be flagrant, the coach shall be ejected and shall leave the vicinity of the playing area and have no further contact (direct or indirect) with the team. If A's coach was the offender, the whistle shall be sounded immediately when the unsporting act occurs.

Zebra,

Can you think of another situation that fits this play?

Perhaps if you are shooting a T, and after the shooter has the ball, but before the try ends...it's a live ball with no team control...you have foul on a player and the other team is in the bonus.

Yep. Okay, how about A coach?

If you T him before release, the ball is dead.

I think the most likely...and that is stretching it...is a common foul while the ball is live shooting a T and the offended team is in the bonus.
