HS Rules.. player playing rough using elbows to move people out of the way.. I run a Church league I say you can't use your elbows like that.

He says "I need to use my elbows to get position under the basket"

Give me a good answer/explainer on what is allowed and not allowed under the basket for establishing position... so I can explain it to my volunteer refs..

IT sounds to me like this issue has nothing specifically to do with elbows. Explain that it's a foul to displace na opponent who has obtained a spot on the floor legally, whether that displacement is by using the hands, the body, the elbow, the legs, ...

I agree with Bob. It's a foul whenever/however you displace an opponent.

Now, using that elbow to the face could earn him a seat.

Everyone has a right to a spot on the floor, you can't just move someone when you don't like where they are.
