I called a violation the other day. The coach disagreed. He said, "What? No way! Don't go making up calls!?

It didn't bother me. I just ignored it. But should I have T'd him for attacking my integrity, not for me necessarily, but for the next ref?

Doesn't sound T-worthy to me.

Not the first time he says it. But you'd be kind to let him know that's not a smart thing to say to a ref. And don't let him do it again.

If other than this comment, the coach was pretty good, I let it go.

If I think this comment could be part of accumulated bull$4!t, I would stop it early. I think this comment in itself it not T worthy; a coach will often say something more T worthy. However, he is questioning your integrity. If he said it emphatically and loud, I can see the whack.

I did tell him he had to sit down if he wanted to yell at me. He behaved ok but he was a jerk.

I thought his team deserved better.

Interesting topic. He is clearly questioning your integrity. For me, I think it would depend on his tone and if the whole gym heard it or not.... so what JR said!
