reffed a frosh game tonight. 28 point blowout. Not ONCE did the coaches complain about a call, raise their voice about lack of calls, nothing! In a way, I was actually bored! No excitement, no controversy, no burning ref effigies. I felt like I should make a horrid call just to mix things up! Tight, intense games are SO much more fun to ref.
